My name is Lynda. My goal is to create artful websites for small businesses owners who want a web presence but want to keep it simple.

I first started designing websites by creating one for my own business, ARTFUL custom framing. At that time, over ten years ago, only a few businesses realized the importance of having a web presence. Now the internet is the first place that customers look for information about businesses and organizations of all sizes.

More recently I have been designing sites for a variety of small businesses, including Yorkie breeders, artists, and even a fellow orthodontist. I have been an orthodontist for thirty years which accounts for my attention to detail and technical bent. I also am a quilter, decorative stitcher, watercolour and acrylic artist, and dog lover.

Effective websites should be easy to navigate but they should also be "easy on the eye", with a minimum of distracting pop-ups and outside advertising. Most importantly, your website should present a positive impression of your business.

I realize that many people do not speak fluent "computerese". That's where LGHwebdesign is different from the rest. All you have to do is provide me with the pictures, the text, and page names - and I will take it from there. I will customize it to coordinate with your logo and colours. Once the website is online, I will do prompt updates for a very reasonable flat yearly fee.
